Sabriya Rice Consultant
Ms. Rice is the Knight Chair in Health and Medical Journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
She has over 15 years of experience as a health and medical journalist and directs a professional master’s degree
program preparing students to cover health and medicine.

Donald Harn Executive Producer
Dr. Harn is a Professor of Infectious Diseases and Georgia Research Alliance Distinguished Investigator.
His research includes novel anti-inflammatory agents and vaccine discovery and development.
He is Director of the UGA Faculty of Infectious Diseases.

Dariel Stanford Producer
Ms. Stanford is a student in the Grady College master’s program in Health Media and Communication.
She holds a degree in Health Promotion and Behavior from UGA and has several years of healthcare experience.

Liliana Salvador Host
Dr. Salvador is an Assistant Professor jointly appointed to the Department of Infectious Disease
and the Institute of Bioinformatics. She is a computational biologist studying spatio-temporal
disease dynamics.

David Peterson Host
Dr. Peterson is an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases and faculty in the
Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases. His research focuses on parasite genetic diversity.
