Bios of hosts and production team:
Sabriya Rice Consultant
Ms. Rice is the Knight Chair in Health and Medical Journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She has over 15 years of experience as a health and medical journalist, and now directs a professional master’s degree program that prepares students to cover health and medicine.
Donald Harn Executive Producer
Dr. Harn is a Professor of Infectious Diseases and Georgia Research Alliance Distinguished Investigator. His research includes work on novel anti-inflammatory agents, and vaccine discovery and development. He is the director of the UGA Faculty of Infectious Diseases
Dariel Stanford Producer
Ms. Stanford is a student in the Grady Colleges master’s degree program in Health Media and Communication. She has a degree in Health Promotion and Behavior from UGA, and several years’ experience in the field of health care.
Liliana Salvador Host
Dr. Salvador is an Assistant Professor jointly appointed to the Department of Infectious Disease and the Institute of Bioinformatics. She is a computational biologist by training, and studies the spatio-temporal dynamics of disease.
David Peterson Host
Dr. Peterson is an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases, and faculty in the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases. His research focuses on genetic diversity of parasites infecting both humans and animals.
